PhD applications are invited within the areas of visual analytics, rendering, animation, virtual/augmented reality, and geometry. Motivated candidates with excellent academic background and sound knowledge in applied mathematics, CS fundamentals, and machine learning will be given preference.
- Ph.D./JRF in Virtual Reality for VR walkthroughs and virtual spatial interactions. The candidate must have experience with game development (Unity, Unreal, or CryEngine) and good understanding of algorithms and data structures. Advertisement for short-term JRF position here.
- Ph.D. in Virtual Reality for real-time and high fidelity volume visualisation of medical data (CT, MRI, and Ultrasound). The candidate must have excellent programming skills and good understanding of computer graphics algorithms, and GPU programming (in CUDA or OpenCL). Knowledge of image processing and computer vision would be a plus.
- Ph.D. in Machine Learning applied to 3D volume rendering. The candidate must have excellent programming skills and good understanding of various machine learning fundamentals. Knowledge of graphics would be a plus.
